Marvel at the diverse ecosystems of the estate

With its sub-tropical location in the Mount Warning caldera, the Northern Rivers region is renowned for its rich biodiversity including many rare and endangered flora and fauna species.  The ecosystems of the estate have been documented in thorough surveys and the appearance of native wildlife features prominently in daily life at Linnaeus.

Guidebooks based on these detailed surveys document the extensive flora and fauna species indigenous to the site and are a handy companion to the 6 kilometres of marked walking trails that wind through the estate’s wetlands, coastal heath, littoral rainforest, wildlife ponds and coastal dunes.
